Typography Phobia Book
The brief in my advanced type class was to choose a specific phoboia. I chose Hylophobia, which is the fear of the woods or forest. I designed typographic structures that visually communicate the progression from diagnosis to treatment, capturing each phase of the experience through form and layout.

BRIEF ─ 01
The brief was to use typography only to create grids ad layouts that conveyed our chosen phobia. I chose hylophobia, which is fear of the woods or the forest.
CHALLENGE ─ 02
The biggest challenge of the book was devising how best to orient the causes and treatments of Hylophobia. This was resolved with dual covers, containing their own spreads pertaining to those themes.
SOLUTION ─ 03
The outcome was a challenging yet vulnerable showcase of how the fear affects people in real life. The book has the causes of the phobia on one side, and on the other the treatments.
