The Red Sole Reimagined
The retail experience becomes an immersive art installation, inviting guests into a world of fantasy and elegance. An open floor plan encourages discovery and interaction, while dynamic LED screens highlight the story behind Louboutin’s iconic heels. This pop-up concept expands on my original packaging design for the Christian Louboutin Heel.

BRIEF ─ 01
The brief was to extract the branding fundamentals of our luxury packaging to create a pop-up experience that entices people to come. I decided to rebrand Louboutin by niching down his target market to successful women wanting luxury goods.
CHALLENGE ─ 02
We needed to figure out the customer journey, create the architecture of the space with a floor plan, and conceptualize a marketing campaign for people to come.
SOLUTION ─ 03
The background and foreground create an intense mix of vibrancy that indicates the bold, fresh, and organic flavors.
WAYFINDING ─ 04
The overall space includes many things to do, such as photo ops, shopping for exclusive products , a full-service bar, and a motion installation room that shows the concept of the luxury box on the walls.

I needed to determine how people would learn about the pop-up and be enticed to attend. My strategy was to develop an exclusive app that provided early access to existing customers. They would receive an email with an access code, download the app, and be intrigued by the hints of what to expect from the experience.
